The training programme for Cardiology Registrars will see you rotate through world renowned teaching hospitals, all within a 20 mile radius of each other. You will undergo training and treat a diverse demographic population, and a variety of presentations and pathologies. In this programme, your career aspirations will be taken an interest in, and you will be guided in an enthusiastic, supportive environment.

Registrar runs in the region are 6 months in length, following which you may rotate into a different run.  

To be eligible for this fantastic Cardiology Registrar training program, you must have passed both written and clinical aspects of FRACP Part 1, at the time of Interview. Applicants must be eligible for registration with the New Zealand Medical Council. Qualifications from the following countries may be considered "comparable" to NZ qualifications, meaning that registration in NZ will be significantly quicker and cheaper than gaining registration in Australia.  These countries are currently:  Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Norway, Republic of Ireland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, United Kingdom or United States of America.
