Dr Berthold Weitkamp FRCA FANZCA

Originally from Germany, Berthold completed his undergraduate training at the University of Munster before moving to the UK to complete his specialist training in Anaesthetics (FRCA). He then moved to Australia in 1998 and completed a 1-year training post. On his return he worked as a consultant in the north east of England but returned to Australia permanently in 2000. He became a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and now holds a consultant post at a major teaching hospital in Melbourne.

Gillian Emond BSc MCSP MRCSA

Gillian is a physiotherapist who comes originally from Scotland. She worked as a department manager in the NHS giving her significant recruitment experience. She emigrated to Australia in 2000 and has worked at the University of Melbourne as a lecturer on the Physiotherapy degree course while also undertaking research towards her  PhD degree. She is thoroughly enjoying her role as MD of Plexus and has overseen our huge rise in popularity amongst candidates and clients.

Joanne Burton

Joanne has extensive experience in the medical industry including practice amalgamation, acquisitions and medical recruitment with particular interest and expertise in the recruitment of general practitioners and overseas trained doctors. Joanne can guide you through all avenues of Medical Board registration changes pending for International Medical Graduates. Prior to over 10 years in medical recruitment , Joanne was involved with several lobby groups in Canberra and previously managed successful manufacturing and retail companies. Joanne Joined the Plexus team in 2009 and is currently studying a BA in Health Science.

Patricia Hay

With a total 16 years of recruitment experience, Trish has been working exclusively in medical recruitment since 2005 and brings a wealth of knowledge and skills that can make a real and positive difference to your recruitment experience. Originally trained as a nurse, with postgraduate qualifications in ENT, Trish has lived, worked and travelled across much of Australia and New Zealand and can expertly guide you through the recruitment process.
