Competent Authority / Specialist assessment

• Make initial phone contact with the doctor to discuss the process involved with registering under the Competent Authority / Specialist Pathway and ensure they understand the process involved
• Coordinate paperwork with the doctor to ensure a smooth application process with the AMC / College
• Liaise with the AMC / college on behalf of the doctor to follow up on any enquiries and monitor timeframes

Medical Board of Australia

• Coordinate paperwork in preparation for lodgment to the Board for registration to work as a Pathologist
• Ensure lodgment of the complete application meets the Boards cut off dates to ensure they are presented at the next available meeting
• Once outcome is received, ensure the doctor has made a booking with the Board to finalise his registration prior to commencing work
